Delete your Holdback account

Holdback: 1099 Tax Set-Aside, by Petalform LLC

You don't need an account to use Holdback. If you created one, you can delete it and everything stored with it at any time.

Option 1: in the app

1. Open Holdback and sign in.
2. Go to Settings → Delete account.
3. Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately.

Option 2: by email

If you can't open the app, email support@petalformllc.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my Holdback account". We'll delete it within 7 days and reply to confirm.

What gets deleted

• Your account: email address and password.
• Your profile and settings stored on our servers.
• Anything you backed up: your tax profile, logged payments, and tip entries.

This is permanent and happens right away. We can't recover a deleted account.

What we keep

• Purchase records. If you bought Holdback Plus, Google Play or the App Store and our subscription processor (RevenueCat) keep transaction records as required for billing, refunds, and tax law. Deleting your Holdback account does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel it in Google Play or the App Store.

Data on your device

Holdback stores your tax data on your phone by default. To remove it, use Settings → Clear tax data or uninstall the app.
